our recent honeymoon stay in hastings was even better than we expected. the cottage we stayed in was clean, had all necessary amenities, and a beautiful beach-view patio. the location by the river was perfect, and we'd love to come back again.
Outdated and cramped bedrooms.

The location of the cottage closest to the river offers a picturesque view, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. the cottage provides easy access to boat rentals with new motors, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience on the water. the hosts are welcoming and the cottages are always clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a weekend getaway.
The lack of curtains in some bunkers may compromise privacy and safety, especially for female guests.

The location of the property was excellent, with easy access to the river and plenty of areas to explore and take a stroll. The host was friendly and always available if we needed anything. the cottage we stayed in had a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
The accommodations were lacking in certain areas. There were no curtains on the windows, which made us feel a bit exposed.

We had an amazing romantic escape! The cottages were cozy and clean, offering a peaceful retreat. The location, nestled alongside a beautiful river, provided a stunning backdrop for a relaxing getaway. We also loved the option to rent boats, allowing us to explore the waterways and enjoy some quality time together on the river.
There were a few drawbacks. The lack of curtains in the cottages made us feel a bit exposed, especially as there were no locks on the doors when we were out.

We had a fantastic time at Trent River Cottages! the location was perfect, right by the river, and our cottage had a lovely patio overlooking the beach. the amenities were great with a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, and even a shared fire pit. It was the perfect place to relax with our family and our 12-year-old absolutely loved it. the option to rent boats with new motors made us feel safe out on the water. Can't wait to come back in August!
Felt exceptional, nothing to complain about.
